Probably the cheapest Screen Replacement in Ipswich area.
Knowing that replacing a laptop screen is not the hardest job I have set a low price for this service here at The PC Help.
Replacing a laptop screen is easy. There are tons of tutorials on the web, and youtube is full of clips showing you how to replace a laptop screen.
How to replace a laptop screen
I won't go through all the details but the basic steps are:
Take out the basel surrounding the screen by removing the screws you will find hidden under the rubber buds. To help you unclipp the bazel you need a soft plastic card. I ussualy use my CO-OP fidelity card. Bit by bit.
Remove the screws you will find on the side of the screen. Normally you will find 4 screws on each side.
Remove the cables attached to the screen.
Remove the lcd screen and look for a code on the back. Example: lp171wp4 tl n1
Google the code you have found and find a laptop replacement seller, you will find plenty on amazon or on ebay, and order your...

Yesterday I have cleaned a gaming laptop. Liam from Woodbridge called and said that his laptop overheats and shut itself down after about 2 hours of intensive graphic game.
He had a custom gaming laptop from www.pcspecialist.co.uk with a powerful I7 intel processor, 16 GB DDR3 RAM, and an AMD Radeon HD 7970M (2 GB DDR5) crossfire graphic card. I was quite impressed with the accessibility of the case. Normally one has to dissemble almost to the bone a laptop to gain good access to the CPU, GPU. With this one it was a pleasant experience. 4 screws to slide the lid out and you have access to the fans and to the heatsinks. One fan had 3 screws and the other 4 screws.
The laptop was about 1 year old and haven't been properly clean. Liam said that he blew some compreseed air over the heatsink.
3 Simple tips for overheating laptops.
Don't blow compressed air over the heatsink from outside of the case.
Doing so you will just push the dust inside the laptop making even...

Asus Eee PC Notebook: Not charging.
I will use this occasion to demonstrate how troubleshooting process should function.
I had used the CompTIA Troubleshooting six step process.
Step 1Identify the problem - Description
Upon first inspection the notebook was working perfectly fine with the battery plugged in but the battery wasn't charging when the dc adaptor was plugged in. Without the battery and with the dc adaptor plugged in the notebook wouldn't start. This mean that the motherboard doesn't receive any power.
Step 2Establish a theory of probable cause (question the obvious).
TheoryAC- DC adaptor doesn't work and doesn't supply power.
Step 3Test the theory to determine the cause.
dc jack 0.7mm first on the left.
Because the the dc jack inside diameter is so tiny 0.7mm I had to use a pin to get the reading on the voltmeter.
The dc jack had just about 19V when I had it checked with the voltmeter which is the right voltage. This means that the cause is...

I love pictogram and they can enhance your website. Sometime a pictogram does more than 1000 pictures.
How to ad stylish pictograms to your webnode webpage.
First step is to go the the most awsome fontpage and copy the two lines.
Second step is to go to Website Template and select Advanced Settings
Third step is to drag & drop the embed widget in the footer of your webpage and paste the code there. In this way this code will be present throughout your page. Close the advanced settings from the top-right corner.
Every time after you write something you can select the source button and add any of the examples found here anywhere you like and then save.
The problem with webnode is that if you want to edit the content again, the code sometimes disappear so you have to put insert it back in.
The best way is to write what you have to write and make sure everything is as you wanted it when you save and preview it. After that you just edit one more time selecting source...

If you want to ad a nice three column newspaper style to your webnode page you might find it difficult. Of course you can use a 3 column table and split the information up but that's not really the way you should do it.
For example on my homepage I have the 3 column newspaper style done in CSS. If you are using webnode as your platform and want to add this type of column on a wide layout page (no side columns) this is what you have to do:
Open Website Templates and choose Advanced Settings.
Click on Edit CSS
Add the following code after the first set of comments */:
.xouter3{
width:80%;
float:left;
margin:15px 0 15px 9%;
}
.xleftcol3{
float: left;
width: 33%;
padding-right: 10px;
}
.xmiddlecol3 {
overflow:hidden;
}
* html .xmiddlecol3{float:left}
* html .xmiddlecol3 .xinner3{width:100%;}
.xrightcol3 {
float:right;
width: 33%;
position:relative;
padding: 0px 0px 0px 10px;
}
Click save and then Close Settings from the top right corner
Now when you want to write into column...
